my new frenemy

Dam my lovely English friends for getting me onto these little discs of pleasure...
This weather is absolutely perfect for cups of tea and a good old digestive right now.

SERVING SUGGESTION
Try with a cup of well brewed Twinnings Orange Pekoe and a handful of these yummies.

It does say on the label that there is "no hydrogenated fat, no artificial colours or flavours" and it also says it's full of " wholesome goodness".  Surely they cant be that bad for you ?

Now I just read the fine print on the back of the box and it claims that contrary to the name " Digestive"  the biscuit " does not contain any substance that assists digestion"

That bubble is well and truly burst now. So a note of warning. DO NOT read the fine print on the labels of  little treats you love..

Yellow is my new Black... !

I am absolutely obsessed with yellow right now

My first memory of falling in love with this colour was when I was about 8 years old.

I had a canary yellow dragster that matched my yellow terry towelling shorts, you know the ones with two strips up the sides... I went everywhere on that bike in those shorts.  It was true love.

Some 30 years later I find my love of yellow spilling over into my work with my flowers and my interiors. Splashes of yellow add such a freshness that delights my senses and fills my heart with such joy.  Yes I am easily pleased.

Here's some inspiration for you to get you mellow about this yellow...
